The St. Anna-Kapelle is at St. Annagasse 11, right in the heart of Zurich. The bright hall with its wood panelling, festive chandeliers and the organ in the gallery creates a warm, intimate atmosphere in which music is experienced up close. In the 2026/27 season the More Than Classic string quartet performs the programmes of the Crossover Series here: Vivaldi meets Rock, Mozart meets Pop and Beethoven goes to Movies.

An evening between concert hall and big screen cinema: Beethoven goes to Movies juxtaposes Beethoven's powerful music with well-known film themes from Mission: Impossible, James Bond, Star Wars, Rocky and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The More Than Classic string quartet takes you through 75 minutes of drama, suspense and great melodies. Short spoken introductions add further insight and guide the audience through the different musical worlds.

After a week filled with news, smartphones, work, and obligations, there's often little time left to simply feel and listen. This live concert in Zurich offers a deliberate counterpoint: no screen, no scrolling – just music created directly in the space.
