Film music live in Zurich – Beethoven, Star Wars, Rocky & James Bond
From Beethoven's famous 5th Symphony to the Imperial March from Star Wars, from Eye of the Tiger to the legendary James Bond Theme: Beethoven goes to Movies alternates between classical masterpieces and world-famous film music.
The More Than Classic string quartet presents a concert programme full of energy, suspense and moments of recognition. Short spoken introductions accompany the journey between Beethoven and some of the greatest film soundtracks.
Perhaps you rarely attend classical concerts because you find them too formal or too far removed from your own musical taste. This string quartet concert in Zurich combines Beethoven with melodies that many people immediately recognise from the cinema – thus creating an uncomplicated entry point to both worlds.
