Crossover Series 2026/2027

Crossover -
Concert Series

Experience Vivaldi, Mozart and Beethoven anew, in three extraordinary concert programmes where classical music meets rock, pop and legendary film scores. Live in Zurich.

Classical or modern music? Why choose?

Whether you love Vivaldi, Mozart and Beethoven, or get goosebumps from Queen, Metallica, Adele, Coldplay and legendary film music – in the Crossover Series both musical worlds meet in one evening.

Experience familiar music in a new light, up close to the musicians. Short, engaging introductions bring classical music to life and make it accessible – even if you rarely attend classical concerts. A special evening for two, with friends, or with family.
Artistic direction: Irina Pak, violinist with the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich.

More Than Classic – Where Classical Music Meets Innovation

The 2026/27 Crossover Series brings three independent concert programmes to Zurich: Vivaldi meets Rock, Mozart meets Pop and Beethoven Goes to the Movies. All three programmes are performed by a string quartet.

Each programme brings classical masterpieces into a new dialogue with rock, pop or film music. Each musical world keeps its own character, and they meet as equals. Selected songs and film scores have been arranged specially for this line-up.
