We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable, for example, because you are located in the EU, its provisions also apply. This privacy policy explains what data we process, for what purpose, and what rights you have.

2. Website visit and server log data

When you access our website, your browser automatically transmits technical information to the server on which the website is operated: IP address, date and time, page accessed, referrer URL, browser type and operating system.

This data is necessary to deliver the website and ensure its security and stability (legitimate interest; Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Server log data is deleted after a maximum of 30 days.

Our website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., Larnaca, Cyprus, on servers located in Germany. The provider processes the data on our behalf.

3. Contact form and contact via email or telephone

When you contact us via the contact form, by email or by telephone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, subject, message) in order to answer your request and, if necessary, to prepare an offer (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and f GDPR).

We retain inquiries for as long as necessary for processing and delete them no later than 2 years after the conclusion of the correspondence, unless there are legal retention obligations.

4. Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your name and email address to send you information about our concerts and projects. This is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

We use the WordPress plugin MailPoet and the MailPoet Sending Service from Automattic Inc., USA, for sending our newsletters. This may involve the transfer of data to the USA; Automattic is certified under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks. We track whether a newsletter is opened and which links are clicked in order to improve our content.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email. Afterwards, we will delete your data from the mailing list.

5. Cookies and consent

Our website uses cookies. We always set necessary cookies, while statistics and marketing cookies are only set with your consent, which you give in the cookie banner (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the «Cookie settings» link in the footer of the website. Details can be found in our Cookie Policy.

6. Google Analytics 4 (Statistics)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics shows us which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and which buttons are clicked, e.g., ticket or contact buttons.

Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. The data is stored for up to 14 months.

Our Google Analytics account is linked to Google Ads. This allows us to measure the performance of our ads in Google Search, for example, whether a ticket link was clicked after clicking on an ad. The Analytics data we collect with your consent is also used in Google Ads for this purpose.

Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google is certified under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks.

7. Meta Pixel (Marketing)

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Meta"). This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, for example, whether a concert page was visited or a ticket link was clicked after clicking on an ad. We can also show relevant concert ads to people who have visited our website.

Meta may link this data to your Facebook or Instagram account. We are jointly responsible with Meta for the collection and transfer of the data to Meta (Art. 26 GDPR). Meta is solely responsible for further processing.

Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms Inc. in the USA. Meta is certified under the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks.

8. YouTube videos

On some pages, we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). We use the enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) for this. With this mode, YouTube only sets cookies when you play a video. When you play a video, data such as your IP address is transmitted to Google, including to the USA.

9. Ticket sales and external platforms

We do not sell tickets ourselves. If you click on «Get tickets», you will be redirected to an external ticketing platform, such as Eventfrog (Switzerland), Fever (Spain), or Projektil Experiences (Germany). The privacy policies of the respective providers apply there.

Our website only contains simple links to social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Data is only transmitted when you click on such a link.

10. Disclosure abroad

Some of the service providers mentioned are based in the EU or the USA. Under Swiss law, the EU is considered a country with an adequate level of data protection. For the USA, we rely on the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks; for non-certified recipients, we use the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by legal retention obligations. Afterwards, it is deleted or anonymized.

12. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our website is encrypted throughout via HTTPS.

13. Your rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:

  • to request information about your personal data processed by us;
  • to have incorrect data corrected;
  • to request the deletion or restriction of processing;
  • to object to the processing;
  • to receive your data in a common electronic format (data portability);

To exercise these rights, contact info@morethanclassic.ch.

You can also lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority:

  • in the EU, at the data protection authority of your country of residence.

14. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy if our website or legal requirements change. The version published on this page at any given time shall apply.
