PROJEKTIL – PULSE: 360° Music & Projection Show – 31 October 2026
Stuttgart - Johanneskirche am Feuersee

The Protestant Johanneskirche am Feuersee in Stuttgart-West is a neo-Gothic church from the 19th century. In autumn 2026, PROJEKTIL transforms its interior into an immersive visual world with 360° projections. On selected evenings, the More Than Classic string quartet plays live.

In PULSE, sound and image tell the story together – and no two performances feel exactly alike. The live ensemble shapes the musical tension in the moment, while PROJEKTIL uses 360° projections to turn the walls, arches and surfaces of the space into an immersive scene. This dialogue is particularly clear in “The Moldau”: the music stays intimate and transparent, while the visuals pick up its movement and develop a visual storytelling that expands the classical performance without overshadowing it.

The More Than Classic concert on 31 October features works that will seem instantly familiar to many, yet keep revealing new details. Smetana’s Moldau flows musically through changing landscapes, Debussy’s Clair de lune brings calm and transparency, while Grieg’s Mountain King builds suspense with its steady crescendo. Dvořák, Schubert, Handel/Halvorsen, Vivaldi and Verdi round out the programme with dance-like, dramatic and virtuosic moments. The result is a musical journey that shows an astonishing range of colours in just 45 minutes.

Early Saturday evening is perfect for doing something enjoyable together. Come as a family, meet up with friends, or use PULSE as the start to a special evening for two. Those who rarely attend classical concerts can find an easy entry point here; those who already love classical music will experience familiar works in an unusual visual setting.

Perhaps you’d like to combine the concert with a meal together or let the evening carry on afterwards. Or perhaps PULSE is exactly the calm highlight you need after a busy week. The beautiful thing is that a shared live experience gives the weekend a moment that is clearly different from streaming, screens and everyday life. The music comes to life in front of you, in that very moment – and this immediacy cannot be caught up on or rewound.

In the Johanneskirche in Stuttgart, the historic character of the space merges with modern projection and the live sound of the More Than Classic string quartet. The music always stays at the centre. It is precisely this balance that makes PULSE so interesting: the concert is neither a pure light show nor a traditional chamber music evening, but a deliberately designed interplay of different art forms.

Treat yourself and your loved ones to an evening that breaks with the ordinary. PULSE can only be experienced on selected live dates, so the number of seats is limited. Plan your visit in good time and consciously take time to listen, marvel and experience it together. This is how classical music and PROJEKTIL’s 360° visual world become a concert moment that stays with you long after the last note.

Spend Saturday together in a different way – plan your PULSE visit early and experience live music in PROJEKTIL’s 360° visual world.
