PROJEKTIL – PULSE: Immersive 360° Music Experience – 24 October 2026
PULSE is not a static format: Each evening is created anew from the interplay between the musicians and PROJEKTIL’s spectacular 360° projections. The classical performance remains audibly central, but the visual layers open up a second narrative space. This approach is particularly noticeable in Smetana’s “The Moldau” – the live music sounds delicate and direct, while light and projection convey movement, depth, and atmosphere throughout the entire space. The result is an immersive music experience that is not only heard but also physically perceived within the space.
More Than Classic brings together musicians who convey classical music with great precision and, at the same time, with an immediate connection to the audience. The programme spans a wide range: Smetana’s Moldau unfolds its flowing movement, Debussy’s Clair de lune creates a still, ethereal moment, Grieg’s The Mountain King brings tension and rhythmic energy, while Dvořák, Schubert, Handel/Halvorsen, Vivaldi, and Verdi provide further striking contrasts. The result is an evening that remains varied yet feels cohesive.
PULSE is ideal for a Saturday evening together. Perhaps you’d like to invite your family to a special cultural experience, plan an evening with friends or make a date something other than dinner and a film. The format is compact, intense and accessible – even for people who wouldn’t call themselves classical music experts. You don’t need to analyse the works or know their background: it’s enough to let yourself be carried by sound, light and atmosphere.
A shared concert experience often makes a wonderful gift idea because you’re not just giving a physical object, but time together. Perhaps there’s someone you’ve been wanting to spend time with for a long time. Maybe you’d like to give your parents, friends, or partner an evening where no one has to organise or entertain – except for the musicians on stage. You can arrive, take a seat, and let yourselves be surprised together.
In the Johanneskirche in Stuttgart, the interplay of music and projection unfolds in a particularly impressive way. The visual design incorporates the architecture, while the More Than Classic string quartet provides the live musical accompaniment for the evening. This creates an experience in which one constantly perceives new details – in the music as well as in the space.
Treat yourselves to 45 minutes in which your phone, appointments and everyday life can fade into the background. Because PULSE is only performed live on selected evenings and seating is limited, it’s worth planning your evening together in good time. Bring someone you love sharing special moments with and experience the dialogue of classical sound and visual storytelling live.
