PROJEKTIL – PULSE: 360° Live Music Show – 23 October 2026
Stuttgart - Johanneskirche am Feuersee

The Protestant Johanneskirche am Feuersee in Stuttgart-West is a neo-Gothic church from the 19th century. In autumn 2026, PROJEKTIL transforms its interior into an immersive visual world with 360° projections. On selected evenings, the More Than Classic string quartet plays live.

Each performance of PULSE develops its own musical character. The live string quartet meets PROJEKTIL’s room-filling 360° projections, which transform the architecture into a moving visual world. Smetana’s “The Moldau” in particular has an intimate effect in this concentrated live version: the sound stays close and immediate, while the visual storytelling carries the musical flow on through the space. The result is a dialogue between classical performance and immersive experience that feels new at every performance.

More Than Classic represents concert formats that liberate classical music from its usual framework without compromising its musical quality. The string quartet remains the heart of the evening: four instruments, four individual voices, and a shared sound that blends with the projections. From the flowing movement in Smetana’s Moldau to the poetic tranquillity of Debussy’s Clair de lune and the dramatic contrasts in Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden”, a programme full of diverse moods unfolds.

This evening is perfect for anyone wanting to do something special together. Spend time with your family, plan an extraordinary evening with friends, or surprise someone with whom you’d like to experience music in a different way. Precisely because PULSE doesn’t resemble a traditional classical concert, the format is also exciting for guests who have rarely heard classical music live.

Perhaps you’re looking for an idea for a get-together that offers more than the usual restaurant or cinema. PULSE creates an opportunity to consciously spend time together. You sit next to each other, listen to the same music, experience the same visual moments – and yet take home entirely personal impressions. This is often where the best part of a live experience comes from: the conversation afterwards, the favourite moment you remember, and the feeling of having stepped out of everyday life for a moment.

In the Johanneskirche in Stuttgart, architecture, music, and visual design converge. The projections alter the perception of the space, while the More Than Classic string quartet forms the musical centerpiece. The result is a focused, 45-minute journey through familiar works, where quiet moments find their place alongside energetic passages.

Make 23 October an evening you’ll fondly remember. Seats for the selected PULSE evenings are limited – a great opportunity to plan your concert visit early with family, friends, or a loved one. Leave appointments and to-do lists behind for a moment and experience together how live music, 360° visuals, and space merge into a single narrative.

Plan your PULSE evening now – selected live dates, limited places and a 360° experience for family, friends or loved ones.
