Vivaldi meets Rock – Matinee at Hotel Hammer, Eigenthal
Eigenthal - Hotel Hammer

Hotel Hammer lies in the Eigenthal valley at the foot of Mount Pilatus, above Lucerne. In its bright culture salon with a grand piano and a library, the hotel regularly invites guests to concerts, readings and talks, often combined with an apéro and lunch. In October 2026 the More Than Classic string quartet performs its programme Vivaldi meets Rock here.

Antonio Vivaldi’s Baroque Four Seasons are woven together with legendary rock songs by Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC and Pink Floyd into a gripping synthesis. Spoken-word interludes frame the concert and open up an additional, poetic dimension.

The More Than Classic string quartet combines the highest classical precision with the powerful energy of rock – intense, surprising and of elemental substance.

A Sunday matinee in the culture salon of Hotel Hammer in Eigenthal: the concert is followed by an apéro and, if you wish, lunch.
