Zurich - St. Anna-Kapelle

The St. Anna-Kapelle is at St. Annagasse 11, right in the heart of Zurich. The bright hall with its wood panelling, festive chandeliers and the organ in the gallery creates a warm, intimate atmosphere in which music is experienced up close. In the 2026/27 season the More Than Classic string quartet performs the programmes of the Crossover Series here: Vivaldi meets Rock, Mozart meets Pop and Beethoven goes to Movies.

Spring, summer, autumn, and winter meet in the music of Metallica, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, and Guns N’ Roses. At Vivaldi meets Rock, the More Than Classic string quartet plays classical masterpieces by Antonio Vivaldi as well as well-known rock compositions.

A modern crossover concert in Zurich for classical music fans, rock lovers and anyone who wants to experience both musical worlds in one evening.

Perhaps you think classical concerts are too traditional – or that rock doesn't belong in the same programme as Vivaldi. Vivaldi meets Rock shows that an evening of music can have room for both: world-famous Baroque music and great rock anthems.
