Beethovens Dramatik und Energie treffen auf legendäre Filmmusik aus Mission: Impossible, James Bond, Star Wars, Rocky und Pirates of the Caribbean. Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Irina Pak, Violinistin im Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, begegnen sich Klassik und Kino in einem spannungsvollen Konzerterlebnis – live in Zürich.
Beethoven goes to Movies bringt zwei Welten zusammen, die mehr gemeinsam haben, als man denkt: Beethovens kraftvolle Musik begegnet legendären Soundtracks aus Mission: Impossible, James Bond, Star Wars, Rocky und Pirates of the Caribbean.
Spannung, Dramatik und grosse Melodien – vieles, was Kino unvergesslich macht, findet sich schon bei Beethoven. Im Wechsel zwischen Klassik und Filmmusik entstehen überraschende Parallelen und starke Kontraste. Kurze Moderationen führen durch den Abend und laden dazu ein, bekannte Musik neu zu hören.
