MARIANNA NEVOLOVICH

Marianna Nevolovich comes from a family of musicians. She received her first piano lessons at the age of five from her father, the composer and pianist Arnold Nevolovich. She received her first musical education in her hometown of St. Petersburg. She successfully completed her studies with Prof. Alexander Sandler and Prof. James Tocco in St. Petersburg and in Lübeck with a postgraduate course. She also attended master classes with Vitaly Margulis, Hans Schicker, Karl-Heinz Kämmling, Walter Blankenheim and Robert D. Levin. Marianna Nevolovitsch has been successful internationally at well-known competitions since her childhood. She won several prizes between 1987 and 2002. Marianna Nevolovich has been a successful concert pianist for many years. She gives concerts regularly at home and abroad, both as a soloist and as a sought-after chamber music partner. She has already received invitations to important festivals, including the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Chamber Music Festival of the Scharwenka Society. Among her most recent projects in 2015 were performances of S. Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 in the most important cathedrals in Belgium

Marianna Nevolovich is a sought-after and experienced piano accompanist. She works regularly in various instrumental classes and with many singers, accompanying at international competitions and master classes. Since 2004 she has been teaching accompaniment at the Musikhochschule Lübeck and has been in the class of Prof. Thomas Brandis for many years, as well as currently working in the classes of Prof. Troels Svane and Carlos Johnson. Since 2007, Marianna Nevolovitsch has been a regular guest piano accompanist at the International Master Classes “Summer Music Academy Wohldorf-Ohlstedt” in Hamburg and has already worked with Jens Peter Maintz, Claudio Bohorquez, Wolfgang Boettcher, Stephan Picard and Elisabeth Kufferath, among others.
